Week 3

We spent most of week 3 continuing to work on the CAD model. In week 2 we worked on a base, which we built into a type of prototype this week. We created a design which is the general idea of what we would like the lamp to look like (some electrical aspects were taken into consideration but not all of them).

We focused specifically on the arm of the lamp where we tried to make an articulated arm where the electrical wiring can be concealed. While some of us worked on the mechanical design, others started to work on a logo for our product and site.

Lastly, we also started to do more research on the wiring of the light and the other features that the lamp will come with. We met multiple times throughout the week to work on the design and logo. Overall, we had a successful week and reached most of our goals for the project.
