First Meeting With Group 7

WEEK 2.1

To begin, we have a larger group than most groups, so splitting up the work and recognizing talents had to be approached differently. The major downside to a 4 person team is that democracy became democrazy. Decisions had to be made where at least 3/4 of the team agreed, however, everyone here has a great mind and we all think alike and understand each other's sentiments, so we were fine.

Our first meeting this week outside of class:

Idea Creation -- We came together this evening and decided that it was a good time to really evaluate our ideas and the reasoning behind them. Though some ideas seemed fun and easy, some of us felt uneasy about them.

Modularity -- I began thinking about modularity because I was thinking about a way to have an everchanging product whose idea would not "expire" with time and the advance of technology. Desk Accessory -- Proposing the idea of a desk accessory hit pretty hard, as students, we all thought that a desk lamp would be quintessential to most desk setups, especially on campus.

Combination -- Knowing that we wanted both ideas, we decided on a modular lamp, coined- The Modulo.

The Modulo was not just a programming concept of finding remainders anymore, it was our own way to divide our work into modules in a way where no free time remained :)
